Hi guys,

i've made a lot of changes on the template and i'm afraid i've done something wrong because after deleting the cache the login button started redirecting to error 404. I was trying to set up the login with facebook option when it happened.

Can you have a look please?

Hi

No it was only a test. You need rewrite the url to login in SEF component and it will be working again. Use the non-sef link You saw when SEF disabled for redirection.

Hi,
can you send me a link to an article for more info? Strangely enough, when i disable the SEF component the login button leads to the login page but the link itself doesn't change. In both cases it stays http://bulgariaoggi.com/new/it/componen ... view=login ...

Hi

I have created a new menu called Hidden Menu than I've added a menu item with type User > Login and than changed the generated link for this page to all copies of template style. Works ok now.

Hi there,

it's me again. Looks like i have the same problem with the "search" function and the SEF as well. I started a new topic but your colleague asked me to address this issue to you again - https://www.gavick.com/forums/news2-joo ... blem-43897

Could you please have a look?

I'll be very greatful

Thanks!

Hi

Sure. Do You mean the problem that after searching for some keyword there is nothing displayed ? Try create a search result page in menu. If this is missing than the page You are currently at is used to display results and homepage has a mainbody area used for this covered with other module.

Hi,

that's exactly what i mean. Unfortunately i have no idea how to do that exactly. I made a new hidden sub-menu called Search results, type search results and then chose it in the "Set ItemID" field of the module but nothing changed.

Can you please send me a link to a manual or something where i can read how to proceed.

Thanks

Lilia

Hi

I have checked and You already have a page for searchresults called: "Ricerca" (althought I could not find it in menus). This page is used correctly, problem is with a module with ID 816 which is published in "mainbody" module position for this page and replacing the content with results. Try to find this module and unselect it to show on this page.

Hi,
i have no idea what is going on but at the moment my home page looks like category block in the middle which i definitely don't want. I want my site to look kind of like in the demo - only modules of articles, not categories of articles.

The module 816 is the most central/important one and i must keep it there i moved it to mainmenu top but this category layout is still there.

I was checking all over my website for a module, article or plugin called Ricerca but i couldn't find such so it has come with the template....

Hi

I have found "Ricerca" is a "Search" in Italian, so this may be the problem than it got translated somehow. Unfortunately I have no idea how to fix it. There is an override in Search module to point what page to open to show search result and even this is not working. The only way to make it work is by disabling sh404sef, so I believe You need to remove/overwrite some links there. I'm not an expert in this, so You better talk to sh404 programmers.

Hi,

actually i just checked and the search module is working! (i haven't touched anything so it's you who did it).

All we have to do now is just to hide the content of the home page menu (featured articles) as it was before...

Hi

Wow. I have no idea what I did. Probably the fix to create a search menu item started to work with delay when sh404 urls got rewritten over time. Now You need to publish the module which was in "mainbody" back to it's place to replace featured articles with this module.
