Slow load times

Hello,
I have been having issues with our new site based on news2 for Joomla3 and was wondering if anyone else had run into something similar? I developed a new site using news2, it seemed very responsive. Loaded quickly etc. But ever since going live and re-pointing the DNS from the old server to the new server (at the same ISP)and new site it has been deathly slow.
It will continually give SQL disconnect errors or take a long time, from 30-120seconds, to load. Often times I will need to hit reload 10-15 times before it reloads.

This is killing me as the test site worked like a charm and the bosses loved it. Now...well there are lots of dirty looks. Any help is always appreciated.

Update: I am also getting this as an error when trying to load the site.
"1030 Got error 28 from storage engine SQL=SHOW FULL COLUMNS FROM `jos3_rsfirewall_logs`
TPL_GK_LANG_ERROR_DESC"
I am also getting this error:

Could you please provide me with a URL to your website, either here or via PM (click the “Private Message” text underneath my avatar) so that I may analyze it? It is a lot easier for us to diagnose issues when we have a live site to examine.

Your site loads pretty fast for me, but You can always use jotCache component instead of joomla and template ones to speed it up.

Which url can I see this error ? Could not find it while clicking throught the site.
