We just had a 1064 error come up on our homepage. All the other individual pages work fine. I had changed the cache time of the thumbnails for one of our homepage modules (Local News) from 30 to 1 and that happened almost at the same time as the 1064 error. Do you know if this could have caused the error or how we can fix it?

To add to this, I unpublished the module I thought was causing the error and our home page works again. But I've changed back the cache time that I think caused the error and that has not fixed the issue with the module.

Please disable all NSP modules on the homepage and check if that helps (after clearing the cache).

Primary Problem:
I have tried the solution you suggested “Please disable all NSP modules on the homepage and check if that helps (after clearing the cache).” to no avail. The one module is still the issue.

I tried to attach the error log here but a .doc, .txt and .pdf attachment all said "file not allowed" (file size limit I'm thinking). Is there another way I can sent it to you?

No specific sql error is apparent but it appears it might be the gkthumbs errors appearing last in the list.

Secondary Problem:
In order to research the 1064 error we accessed the error log on the server which was 3.25GB, too large to open with any software we currently have. We deleted the error log and recreated the 1064 error and immediately downloaded the error log again. The log, after only one hour of being created is already over 9000 KB. After 5 hours it is now at 38,000KB. I do not think the application should be generating this many errors. Is it possible for you to address some of them so that the file can be kept at a manageable size?

"The one module is still the issue." I understand its NSP module, right?
If so:
0) Install new current version of NSP GK5 (re-install)
1) Open module in edit mode
2) Click Refresh button in your browser
3) Change data source to another from list
4) Change order of showing items
5) Save changes - check on front page
6) If okey, change data source back to option which you have at the beginning

If it goes to log sizes, I need to know that's there in the log file. You could also try to ask this question as a separate forum thread to keep to the rule where one topic = one thread.

Ps. If you need to share a larger txt or log file, you can use any 3rd party free sharing solutions on the net.

Your suggested fix worked. Thanks. I've started a new thread on the error log.

Hi there,
I have the 1064 problem since I changed the JOOMLA core global configuration setting:
"Include Site Name in Page Titles" Before

To:

"Include Site Name in Page Titles" After

1064
You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ')' at line 7 SQL=SELECT c.id AS id, c.video AS video FROM rvYzkl_k2_items AS c WHERE c.id IN ()
It appears the page you were looking for doesn't exist. Sorry about that.

I tried already what was recommended in this treat, but it did not work. I could get crazy. Please help!

Additional info: We made an Joomla Update today, maybe the error is related to this. We renmaned the modul mod_news_pro_gk5 into 1mod_news_pro_gk5, so the website is online. But this is of course no solution. Please HELP
