My current site is http://www.BallOfSpray.com
I am converting my site from Joomla! 2.5.x to 3.x and have pruchased the Gavick template News2. I currently use League News (2.5.x ) and it is time for a change.

I can edit / write some basic HTML but do not write any PHP.

What I cannot seem to do is the following:

A) I need a column on the left and right of the Feature/Main body that is 180 px wide. The column on the right will contain banners (160 px wide) and the left side will contain Twitter and Instagram feeds (also 160 px wide).

B ) I need to keep my 468x60 top banners across the top - See current site

Do I need custom programming to achieve this?

Sadly - yes - new module positions (sidebars) requires some php editing and css redesigning.
But you can try this documentation:

It might help you a little bit.
