Hi, I have made an installation of the News 2 tempate and I have noticed that on Firefox and IE, the K2 items when displayed per category or per tag, and the the k2.css is used (enabled) , then the maximum width of the webpage and the percentage for the left part seem not to be properly calculated - the left side overfloats to the right.

The website is http://www.aisthitiki-simera.gr/ and I would like to know how it can be resolved with the version of the template I do have installed if possible. Probably a fix in the k2.css file has occured?

Thank you in advance for any suggestions on the issue

Hi

I think images are way to big for category view. They should be around 400px, but let's just leave it like that and add this code to override.css to rewrite some code to adjust it for big images:

Code: Select all
.itemListRow {
    display: block;
}

.itemContainer {
    display: block;
    float: left;
}

unfortunately I can still see some plugins in articles which are not responsive, so some problems will still occure. I propose to disable showing plugins in category layout at least.

Hi Teitbite,
I have applied the code to the override.css it seems better, but please see http://www.aisthitiki-simera.gr/index.p ... aisthitiki (on Firefox / IE), there the same thing appears to the lower lever items, they overfloat to the right.

There, I dont think there are non responsive extenssions. Just K2 items with text and images.

Thank you very much in advance,
Mary

Hi

I cannot see the code I gave You being added to the site at all. There is no override.css file in the list of style file, so maybe You have forgot to enable using it.

I was talking about K2 plugins which are not responsive, like this slider for example:

Hi, if you cannot see the override.css this would be an issue because it is and it was all the time enabled in the backend. (gavick1.png)

As well I am sending you the screen shot of the page in concern as in Firefox where the issue exists and as in chrome that probably it takes different hierarchy in the css files so the issue there seems not to exist.

Hi, I am sending you the screen shots of the page in concern as well, as on

Chrome: gavick3.png

Please I would like your attention on the subject as the every two days respose will probably make it very distant to solve. Please may I have a more prompt response on that?

Thank you very much in advance,
Best regards,

Hi

In Your screenshot I can see override is enabled, but also css compression is in use too, so basicaly any changes to css are not visible becuase old styles are being used over and over.

Please send me an access to joomla panel and ftp, so I won't have to ask to put the code there to see it on my next visit and solve it faster this way.

Hi Teitbite, it was resolved :) when the css compression was de-activated.

It seems this has resolved the issue in both the pages:

http://www.aisthitiki-simera.gr/index.p ... kalluntika

http://www.aisthitiki-simera.gr/index.p ... aisthitiki

Many thanks
