Hi,

I made a site with this template and since have to regularly change the date format for the normal joomla articles.
The date format is changed back after every update.
So I tried to re-set the settings but cannot find any datecodes anymore after the latest update..
I do find inside the html override template code for the articles com part this mystery code: "TPL_GK_NEWS2_DATE_FORMAT"
Pleas could you tell me what to do now to change the date settings.

Thank you.

I want the current date changed from month day year back to day month year again.

Is there a less laborious and difficult way to change this once and for all?

Greetings,
Paul

Hi

In joomla panel go to extensions >> language >> override add this TPL_GK_NEWS2_DATE_FORMAT sentence there along with a proper formatting details. An options for format can be found here: http://php.net/manual/en/function.date.php

Thanks for your reply.
Works a treat!
Did I miss this change earlier perhaps?

Hi

I do not think so. It's just that this override is recorded in a separate file which does not exists in clean joomla installation, so an update will not override it, that's why I proposed such solution from many other options.
