Switch to News 2, how to?

Hi, we are using Joomlart Ja Teline V which is to slow and to menu scripts and generally to complicated to customize. Now we would like to switch to News2 and get rid of all Ja Teline files.
My question is what is best practice to change template? Install new Joomla and new template (quick start) and migrate content or install template on Joomla we are already using and follow News2 Userguide on Gavick Documentation?

Answering second question. Yes it can with a News Show Pro GK5 Grid Layout style or using grid module first and than multiple News Show Pro GK5 modules.

I would use a quickstart and than move the content to it. This way You will be sure only the modules fully compatible with each other will make it to website. And You will save lots of time setting up the modules.

BUT if You have a lot of content in old website than we have prepared all the configurations used https://www.gavick.com/documentation/jo ... ion/news-2 so You can go with a template alone and than adding a module after module to it.
