so confused... how do I achieve this look?

I apologize but I am so confused by this module... I love the sample in the demo but my site is a mess. How do I achieve this look with one dominant article with a big image on the left, with a list of other recent articles to the right beside it with smaller icons?

And then have that repeated below with different categories? Thank you!

The configuration details for News Show Pro are for the older version, 4, and don't match.

I've decided to go back to Game News template, but still the configuration is not working at all. I would like to achieve this look - the latest story to be in a big box and to have the more recent stories next to it with smaller thumbnails.

Are you sure? These configuration are based on the modules from the quickstart - News 2 template uses NSP GK5 module from the beginning.

The configuration is based on the documentation for Game News, for "6. mainbody latest news", which is for News Show Pro 4. I have News Show Pro 5 installed and the options are different. I tried as best I could to copy the configuration, but it is different. Is it still possible to achieve that template display in NSP5?

Under module basic settings, what should I put under module ID and module mode?

I'm sorry but this template was prepared with support for NSP GK4, if you want to use NSP GK5 you have to configure it by yourself.

Please remember that NSP GK5 can doesn't contain some portal modes used in the older templates.

You can skip the module ID option - it will be set automatically.

The module mode depends from your needs - if you will use portal mode, the you have to select the portal mode name in other case please use the standard mode.

Thank you! I really want this template look so I uninstalled NSP5 and installed version 4. I have the "latest news" displaying fine now. However, I still don't know how to get the main image (latest story) to display as the big image.

Under article layout, these options are not available to me and I am wondering if there is something else I need to install:

Vertical Scroller amount of news
News Slideshow amount of news
Accordion News amount of news
News Gallery amount of news
Responsive News Gallery amount of news

By the way, I installed Image Show. Is that what I need to use to make the "big" article intro? THANK YOU!

Please look at the module suffixes - there is a suffix dark and big - these suffixes are responsible for the module layout. The mentioned options are unnecessary as its are connected with portal modes not used in this template.

OK, I configured NSP Top I and Top Stories but they are stacking on top of each other. I configured it exactly as the modules are configured except I changed the thumbnail dimensions (from horizontal to vertical to reflect our thumbnails).

How do I get NSP Top I to float left and Top Stories to float right? You can see what it looks like:

Your problem is caused probably by custom changes in the css/layout.css file - please change the width rule to 50% in the following selector:
