template cache disabled but still active, why ?

Hello,
I can't disable cache in Storefront tremplate configuration (Advanced settings)
I have turned off "Use GK Cache" and "CSS cache" and saved
emptied Firefox cache
emptied Joomla (2.5.26) cache
but cache is still writing in ftp folder website root "cache/gk"

all cache plugins are disabled

what can I do to test without GK cache ?

The folder might be there, if you have disabled cache Joomla will not use it.

It might not use it I agree, but it does actually ! I don't know why.
the folder is still active and many files are written in it

so when I want to see CSS with web developer it shows gk-cache informations
(website-url/cache/gk/f70a098fa7522a7c9d8630b01ac0108c.css.php)
