coupon in the cart does not work, nothing happens.
A template Beez_20 surfing all ok!

Hi

Please make sure template is updated to the latest version and if it is than please rename /html/com_virtuemart/cart/default.php to /html/com_virtuemart/cart/_default.php

Hi! I had the same at the template gk_esport on j 2.5.
I renamed the file and now the page reloads, but the price doesn't change.
I already checked the published date ect., but can't find a problem in the configuration.
May it's a failure in the template?

Hi

I do not know, but this can be checked easily. Please switch to joomla default template and check the cart than. If it works than problem is in template. If not than it's a component issue.

Do You mean that even renaming /html/com_virtuemart/cart/default.php to /html/com_virtuemart/cart/_default.php doesn't help ? Please tell me what price should be changed and to what value. Please update template to latest version and send me an access to ftp. I'll check it. Please do not forget to senf an url to Your site so I'll be able to test it.

Hi

Great. Now after some dumps I can see that jQuery is not loading. This is because of https used by site, but http used in libraries. Easiest way to correct is by using Easy jQuery plugin and changing jQuery to load with https.

One last test. Try to change jQuery version to 1.6 it was used by VM before. And if this will not work send me joomla panel access, so I'll have all details and will pass this to programmers.

I renamed /html/com_virtuemart/cart to /html/com_virtuemart/_cart to exclude any of our overrides. But I have not noticed a difference in this starting to work. So what should I say to programmers ?

Hi

I have a bad news :( Programmers told me that it's most probably a wrong VM version. The last version supported was 2.6.6 and new update is in progress, but since it's a version working with joomla 3.3 there is a lot more work to do. So it will take some time. Please meanwhile downgrade to this version while waiting for new update.

downgrade is impossible, because we need the german language files, which just exists for the installed version.

Hi

Programmers just pointed out that You have put the question in wrong category. I told them that it's storefront template while You are using eSport template. This means that there will be no update for this template, because our policy is to support templates only for 2 years and this one is over 2 years old. Even the VM version it was made for is older 2.0.26a.

In this case I would advice to change template to most recent one. Storefront is our last ecommerce solution: http://demo.gavick.com/joomla25/storefront/
