login and register positions

I am having proper problems getting the login and register section and the account tabs to show or even work, when i add them to the positions login and register they do not show up, the gk-register is crashing the website giving error mod gk register Uncaught exception 'Exception' with message 'XML file did not load

i have ripped my hair our for days trying to solve this issue and just cannot, can anyone help?

Can I see Your website please ?

There is no module position register in this template and login module position is located in popup triggered by css class "gkLogin".

GK Register module is very old and not supported anymore. I do not even know it will install on J3. As You can see in our demo we are using a standard joomla component for registration.
