Hello,

I'm sorry but the top navigation doesn't support submenus.

You have to just add class "gkLogin" to specific menu item using GK Extended Menu Params tab in the menu item edition screen.

Great. Looks good :)
However, I am trying to get rid of the "Create an account" link shown in the popup window. Is this possible?

I also now noticed that if I scroll downwards on my page and click on the Login button on my top main menu .... the pop is not showing up.

What happens is that I need to scroll to the top of my site in order for it to bee seen. This is not optimal.

Please assist on how to overcome this.

You can remove the create an account link in the layouts/blocks/login.php file.

Regarding the problem with popup - please add the following code at the end of template.css file:

Code: Select all
body #gkPopupLogin {
position: fixed!important;
}

Thank you for your help so far.

One last wish is if it could be possible to change the menu item from "Login" to "Logout" when already logged in. This would be more user friendly for the visitors. Possible?

Please open lib/menu/GKBase.class.php and before fragment:

Code: Select all
            if ($tmp->gkparams->get('desc') && $desc) {
                $txt .= '<small>' . JText::_($tmp->gkparams->get('desc')) . '</small>';
            }

in the genMenuItem method please add the following code:

Code: Select all
if(stripos($active, 'gkLogin') !== FALSE) {
            $user = JFactory::getUser();
            if($user->id > 0) {
               $txt = JText::_('TPL_GK_LANG_MYACCOUNT');
            }
         }

Then please add in the template language file the following line at the end:

Code: Select all
TPL_GK_LANG_MYACCOUNT="Logout"

I managed to get the code in and all works fine except that the logout text says "LOGOUTLOGIN" (instead of just "LOGOUT").

Can you please let me know how to fix this small issue? :roll:

We have included this feature in our last template - University, and most probably it will be included also in the newer ones :)

@Nubreed - all these phrases are located in the template language file.

Yes, and i've changed those lines: (root/templates/gk_storefront/language)

TPL_GK_LANG_LOGIN_POPUP="Entrar"
TPL_GK_LANG_REGISTER_POPUP="criar uma conta"
TPL_GK_LANG_LOGOUT_POPUP="A sua conta"

But i still get it in English in the pop up, i've also cleared the cache, is there something i'm not aware of :?:
