Tabs GK5 Data Source

Hello, in the main page of my site where there are two GK5 Tabs connected to two corresponding News Show Pro GK5 modules, they do not seem to collect the data they should. I use Virtuemart Categories as data source but the categories shown include categories from the sample data and my true categories in Virtuemart.
What could be going wrong?

Looks like You have some translations issues there. Please check if it's not coming from a different language or simply remove the demo content so it will not show at all.

I can't even find where I edit the data source for these tabs.

I've searched the back end on every screen I can think of. I can not find a tabs manager anywhere. Neither tabs nor gk5 can be found in the components menu, and none of the corresponding items in the module manager have this data source section that is pictured in the front end (like if you click Specials, Rated, etc).

I'm not sure if I am overlooking it or if maybe something got lost during the quickstart. Could you please direct me as to where to look?

If it came from quickstart than Tabs GK5 module has an ID of 699. It creates 2 module positions called "tab1", "tab2". Those positions are used by News Show Pro GK5 modules with ID'a of 684 and 714.

Those NSP modules are pulling content from Virtuemart. In order to do so a correct language needs to be selected. NSP is able to handle one language only, so if Your content is in Greek, module needs to be for set for Greek and forced to pull from Greek VM tables by overwriting and table prefix in modules settings. It's good to use joomla panel in the language You wish to configure modules for as well.

I think you're probably right about the language though. It seems like when I first installed the template I had to change the VM language from GB English to US English so that the shopping cart would display the correct currency sign.

I signed into the Module 699 and changed the language from "All" to "English US". However, I can not do the same thing for the tabs because when I open them in the module manager they open sort of our of frame, so there is no save button or anything. All I can do is click back but no changes save if I do that.

So my problem is that I still do not have any type of Tabs Manager to select data sources for these tabs, meaning that I also can not set up the other four tabs that are listed (hit, specials, rated, random).

Try update Tabs GK5 to have it operational, but it's not a crucial to solve this problem. Please send me an access to Your joomla panel to my mail [email protected] so I'll see what language is installed, which one is used in VM and I'll reconfigure NSP module to show that.
