Category & Products Transfer to updated Joomla Site

Hello,

I just recently updated my site to the latest Joomla 3.6.2 (Storefront) and would like to find out what is the easiest way to transfer my categories and products to my new updated site. I have been trying to figure this out for a while and want to make sure I do this the right way. Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

There are extensions which can do that, as this one: http://extensions.joomla.org/extensions ... p-transfer. I've always have been doing that manually in database and image folder, but I understand it requires some knowledge of mysql, so I would not advice that if You will be trying that for the first time.
