Posting a comment on a Hikashop product

Hi there,
Since the update to the 3.0 version of Hikashop, I've experienced a few problems with the component behaviour and the template. One of them is that's impossible to send a comment on a product. After hitting the "send comment" button, absolutely nothing happens.

Same thing happened with the button on the cart module. It refreshed the current page instead of going to the checkout process. I've managed to work this out by using a direct link to the checkout page. I think the 2 problems are related since Hikashop has rewritten the cart code and using Ajax.

Could you help me sort this out? If we fix the comments problem, I think I can fix the checkout button too. Thanks!

Problems may arise, because we've been forced to drop support for Hikashop. Anyway please tell me the url to the exact page I'll be able to see this commenting issue. I'll take a look.

You may also test how it will behave after disabling our changes to component. It can be done easily by renaming /html/com_hikashop/ to /html/_com_hikashop/

Yes I'm afraid this is because newest Hikashop has rewritten comments system, so our override will not work with it. All I can advice in this case is to downgrade to last working version of Hikashop.

What do You mean that there is no access to comments when our overrides are disabled ? Maybe comments was not designed to be in this place in new version.
