Problems with quickstart

Hello guys,
I installed already the quickstart package and it seems to look ok in the backend, but when i try to open the site a message appears from my apache that fails and has to be close. I'm working local with Xammp running on Windows 7.
I read an older post with problems with the quickstart installed in other languages different from English, so i try to installed in English twice (English USA an English UK) and the problem persist.
My Xammp is running ok because I have several websites installed and all of them are fine.
Any ideas? Thank you.

Did you try to install other quicktart packages? There's no additional error visible when you are trying to open the website? It will be difficult to help you with that, because it's localhost.
