Header Slideshow suddenly stopped working

Hi,

I'm using the storefront wordpress template on my site : http://madrasfuntools.com/wp2/ . The header slideshow was working fine when suddenly it stopped working and all I see is the loading animation spinning endlessly. Doesn't seem to be a browser problem since I tried this with three different browsers. Any idea what could be wrong ?

Thanks for your reply, the problem seems to have gone away. I am not sure what caused in the first place but it seems to get fixed if I unpublish the "New" page which is a child-page of the storefront homepage. The problem gets reproduced if I publish the "new" page. I'm sending you the details anyway for you to take a look.

On this Page (new) there's a probably small mistake in the [gknsp ..] shortcode syntax which caused the issue.
Regarding the slider, try to optimize your images, because now the average weight of your slide is 5MB and it may take a long time to l oad on some conditions.

Thanks for your reply and suggestion. I'm still building it the site so haven't really gotten down to optimizing it yet. This is what I have in the "New", pretty much what the documentation suggests :

I've published your "New" page and the slider still works, but it takes a lot of time to load, because of your images weight. (the slider waits for all images and start when images are loaded)

Thanks Piotr, I have also reduced the size of the front row images. Can you please tell me what was wrong with the syntax or perhaps the page setting that was causing it to fail ?

Nothing, I've copied and paste the content again and that's all, maybe a small typo mistake but I didn't notice it, please remeber also to use Text editor (not visual) when you are working with [nsp.. ] syntax.
