Event Dates in the future not showing

Hi Guys,

When we set an event we are setting the publish date as the date of the event, but it's not showing on the front end unless it's a past date.

What are we doing wrong?

my client will have a problem with that, do you think it's possible for us to develop a piece of that will add this under the publishing details as an info box?

If we do this, is there a way to avoid problems when updating in the future?

Probably with some modifications you'll be able to change it, but I'm not sure.
Regarding the future updates, please create the child theme to avoid problem with future updates.

sorry to open this again but something really odd is happening, the date shown is now always right now and not the date set in the custom fields, take a look at the screen attached, you'll see everything is set as per the documentation, I've also set the cache to 0 on the widget.

Any ideas?

I have set up a test site for you to look at, but it's doesn't have the same issue. I'm completely confused now.

Please make sure that you have the same theme version and check also your plugins. I've checked also my theme installation and can't see the issue.
