White blank space above footer on pages

Hello,

I am getting a lot of white blank space above the footer menu and below the end of the page content. Pls see screenshot. Pls advice on how to get rid of this. This shows up on all pages created.

It looks like a widget (empty text widget?) on your Bottom 3 widget area, the widget is there, so the padding is added to this section.

I actually added that cause I didn't want to use the buddy press widget on the home page with the title. So if you see the home page now, the connect and newsletter subscribe widgets are not aligned correctly side by side. Pls advice.
