After migrating my website from 1.5 to 3.X I am configuring the template events.
On the header page I see the logo twice.
Can you please let met know what to modify in order to fix this issue?

Hi,
funny bug.
1) Did you reinstall'ed template for Joomla 3.x check template setting,
2) Check modules (Custom HTML) maybe in one of them there is a logo.

before I will propose you a "hard" solution.

Hi,

on my legacy site I have no events template.
Have uninstalled the template and reinstalled.
Now the template is "fresh". I have not configured the logo, so you see the original events logo (unformtunately also twice).

The custom HTML is containing only the word Hello. So no logo assigned.

If I change the template.css with the following code :

#gkHeader {
background-size: cover;
margin: 0;
padding: 0;
position: relative;
top: -280px;
}

the top:-280px results in not showing the second logo. I hope there is a more sofisticated solution :-)

Probably yes, but as you can see in QuickStart there is only one logo.

Hello Oscar,

I know there is one logo. I use only one logo myself. If I rename my logo none is displayed.
I also see the menu is displayed in the header area. Maybe the cause is related to this as well?

You can also try to use default logo, and just replace logo image.
I couldn't reproduce your issue, to tell more.

I can confirm this situation too. When I choose Features/Logo type: Image => I get a duplicate logo on homepage and this is loosing the centered position and is displayed on the left. This is happening even with the native Events logo (.png). so I'm sure that we are playing with a bug or something.

Going further, I tried one of the advices from the developers and I modified the CSS file by changing .svg with .png. In this case, the Home page looks great, no problem at all, but when the top menu is displayed and the logo goes to the left side, then something strange is happened: the logo become stretched somehow and it's loosing the correct appearance.

I'm kindly ask anybody who can investigate this to come back with a solution.
Thank you in advance.

I'm glad that obviously I'm not the only one who have this issue.

I just startet the page, everything is fresh - but there are a lot of problems:

1. Logo is displayed twice as you described - no matter which logotype-feature I choose (css logo oder image logo)

2. Main menu is displayed also on starting page (like it should be when submenus are displayed)

and:

3. Whatever I do (and beside your proposals I really did a lot!) - no chance to display a foto in header-section as in your template-example.

4. Last but not least, the links of the main navigation menu don't work. Never had that problem with another joomla template before.

I kindly ask again, if that maybe is a bug or something! I really would be happy about any help.
