Logo Issue, about to give up

Hello,

I am having an issue getting my logo to work, I have tried everything from creating a new SVG to using image, changing the CSS etc.

I have the project on a Sub-Domain http://e.lpex.org/

Any and all help is appreciated, I searched the forums and I couldn't find anything helpful.

I will leave it along until I can get some help.. But the end result is that I would like to use the IMAGE, not the SVG/CSS option.

I think I am getting a good understanding of this template so if I can get this squared away that would be great. Thank you in advance!

Now - while you were editing the svg logo, which version of Adobe Illustrator were you using?

CS6...

Do you have instructions on how to save the file correctly? Do I have to use that file format? Can I just create a png?

Please edit: /templates/gk_events/css/override.css and add at its end:
Code: Select all
.svg #gkLogo.cssLogo, .svg #gkLogoSmall.cssLogo {
background-image: url('../images/logo.png');
background-size: 100%;
}

This will disable svg and force only png use. There is a problem with svg export module in CS6 version of InDesign which causes exported file to be wrongly interpreted by the browser. It works fine in CC version which were used while creating original file.

Remember to enable "CSS override" in template settings - advanced section.

Hi so I changed everything, added the code and I used the Image. I cant get it to work. I moved it to the Text Logo for now. Now the issue is that I the spacing (padding) seems off on top.

Any ideas?

Also, would it be possible for me to send you the PNG file with the logo and you convert the svg with CC and send it to me? I font I used i s called Nexus light. I use PC but I can send you the fonts if you need them or download it here: http://nexusfont.en.softonic.com/

Thanks

Actually you need to know that svg is not supported by all browsers. You should prepare both.
Please check this article:
https://www.gavick.com/forums/john/prob ... s6#p211123
I have described how to modify export from CS6 to make it work fine.

I am just going to go with the text logo as the other post you referenced didnt work for me either.

Ever page other than the home page the top part of the logo is cut off until you scroll down. Here is an example: http://e.lpex.org/program

Can you tell me how to correct this please?

Where can I change the parametters in order of not having the issue (where logo for header and small logo get together...) Because if I don´t want to have that problem is only solved when I make the logo for header to small... Thanks on advance.

Thank you very much cyberek. Actually I have a question. If you want to take a look at my website : www.casaabiertagto.com, you are going to see that still the size of my vectorized logo it's not the best one. My question is, how can I modify the css in order to resize it and then the logo is able to be seen? When I scroll down the site you also can see that the logo is too small. I know all this is about modifying the css file but I'm not an expert even using the right click on the chrome tools for developers ... sorry, I'm still an amateur... (Still I think discovering that Adobe illustrator offers a very good resource to convert to svg a bitmap it's going to help other members whit the same issue) thank you very much on advance. ;)

How would you like to display it? Could you please create a screen and modify the logo so it looks as desired?
