Hiding first larger logo?

Hi. I have modifed GK steakhouse so that the Image Show GK4 module is shown in the header position on the front page (instead of the default header module) and the menu shows always on top - from the very moment you load the page.

Although the original logo that loads is no longer visible I want to turn it off altogether so the site is cleaned up and its not loading in the background.

How would you advise me to do this?

Just display: none in override.css?

As usually you have modified something already. Please post your site somewhere online temporally. Only if you haven't done any changes to a template I can provide working solutions without seeing it.
