Login Screen & Changing of Colour

Hi,

I have 2 major problems at the moment.

1.) The "Offline" login page does not show anymore. The "down for maintenance" screen where you would usually enter username and password to see the front end of joomla doesnt show up anymore like it did yesterday.

I have checked under global settings that it is set to show offline page, i also checked in the configuratio.php folder that it says offline.
I have also logged out of backend of joomla to see if it would let me sign in at the front end but still displays the home screen. I dont know where to check anymore.

2.) I need to change the colour of the background in the location module at the bottom of the page, i need it to be a light pink. I have looked everywhere i can think of to change it but not able to.

I have attached a screenshot of what im talking about. In the shot its orange of colour.

Any help would be much appreciated.

the site isnt uploaded yet due to the fact that its not yet complete and because of the login screen issue

Without access t a live site I can't help much. Perhaps you could post it somewhere temporally?
