JCE editor losing all format?

I am using JCE editor. I cannot change anything at all in the html modules "Restaurant__Welcome to Steak House__" and "Special" without losing the formatting.
The html text is exactly the same, except that I change for example one word in the title or one word in the text. So after I saved "Special" it became like the screenshot attached.
Is there a setting for the jce editor?

No, visual editors cuts off html that they don't "like" - which is usually all but paragraphs, bolds, lists etc. To be able to edit those modules, please disable JCE editor in global configuration (change editor to "editor - none").

Come on, this is no option because customers have to be able to edit the content in the frontend, thats the whole ideal about a cms. Please fix as this is critical flaw.
What also needs a fix is that the frontend edit-Button sometimes is hidden and sometimes even gone, e.g. in your quickstart article which shows the menu. Every other template I know has the edit button grouped with the print/send button, always at the same position. I don't want my customers to play hide & seek - again a critical flaw which needs a quick fix or shouldn't have been left in an official release in the first place.

Sorry but we can;t fix tinyMCE as this is not our product. It behaves this way and we can't do anything about that. You can try to install other modules. Some like JCE (but we don't recommend it due to security issues), some like CodeMirror, but configuring them not to break html is up to you (google should help but not all solutions works as they should).
If it goes to edit and print buttons, I'll post the info to our dev team but I need more feedback...
Could you please post an url to your site?
Also, could you please send me a PM with:
1. URL to your website
2. login and password of user with login privileges (please create one for me)
3. link to this thread
4. Link to a page with problematic edit button on frontend.

Although I love the look of this template, I must agree with Jochen a little bit.
My client is a restaurant (obviously), and they want to change the "Special" menu from time to time...
If no editor will work with this module, then I can not use it.

There are props and cons of the way we have designed the template. Using custom html elements we can make much better design, but consequence is that sometimes some pure html needs to be edited.

Yes, I understand. I can use these modules for static elements, but not for menus.

Using custom html module for menu is a strange idea. How would you like it to work?

I mean restaurant menus, not nav menus! Lol
I found that jce editor seems to work on your modules with CSS allowed. I also turned off HTML validation, but this probably makes no difference.

You can also try to fine tune Visual Editors this way:
