Add new module position

I am seeking to add anothr module position. But after checcking all the files I need to edit I can't find the gk.const.php file in this template framework directory! Can you tell me what has changed and where will I be able to locate this file?

Also if this file is no longer needed can you please state the new way a module is supposed to be added...

If particular file is missing - you just don't need to edit it... Follow to the next step then.
