Erased home page out of the menu

I was hoping to just have the logo as the only "home" in the menu so I tried erasing it.

That caused problems (I forgot exactly how) so I tried to put it back. I thought creating a home menu item and linking it to an article would work. Now it just shows that one article and that's it. Everything else is gone.

Please help!

You need to recreate home page modules (reassign them), add home page suffixes etc. Please refer to documentation:
