Mobile responsive issue

Hi,

With the live demo of the Steakhouse template the menu bar is not correctly displayed on my Samsung Galaxy S3 device (android 4.3).

It doesn't show at all even if you scroll down a little bit?

Nope. Just the word "Steakhouse" in orange.
On my ipad and iphone no problem...

Very strange. Could you please verify if on Mobile Chrome problem also exist?

Just checked it.. With mobile chrome the menu bar is correctly displayed. With the native internet browser not...

I have checked it on a browser stack and the bug doesn't show. I'll report that to our devteam but if they don't have Samsung Ga;axy S3 I'm affraid we can't do much. It looks like browser bug.

Ok thanks... If I have to test something just let me know... I have several android and iOS devices...

Please compare the site when viewed on desktop (use dev tools in chrome then) and viewed on your smartphone. Please verify why menu elements are not visible on smartphone.

I have also just found the same issue of menu disappearing on some other devices. On iPhone 5/5S (Safari/Chrome) everything works, with Android devices there are some problems instead.

For example I tested on a Sony ION (almost the same as Sony S) and in Chrome is ok, but using stock browser and Dolphin browser not. It shows the Steakhouse link without menu as posted at the beginning of discussion. The resolution of this device is 1280x720.

Do you have any suggestions how to solve this problem? Can you eventually point out some code that I could try to change?

If you are not known to firebug / devotees there isn't any thing I could advice you to do. I might ask our dev team to take a look, but they already tested the template before release, and browser like Dolphin such rarely used that we don't fix for them.

Do you know how to connect your phone / tablet to chrome remote console (adb) and use dev tools with the phone / tablet?
