Hi,
I'm not a joomla newby but I really don't understand how to set up the template.
I uploaded the quickstart template for J!3 and installed it on a new empty J!3 local website.
I had to force install with "discover" tool because the normal install couldn't display the template in admin template extensions.
After that, I choose Steak House as frontend default, but I just have an empty home page with no image (only the steak house logo at the top)
in modules I have only the basic Joomla modules (8 modules)

Json configuration was uploaded.
What do I have to do to have for example, the big image in the frontpage background ?
I'm really lost.
Thanks

Hello,

Did you read this tutorial: https://www.gavick.com/documentation/jo ... t-package/ ?

You cannot install quickstart on the exisiting joomla installation - quickstart is a preconfigured joomla installation.

Hi, SOLVED !!
well I found my mistake just before you answer my post, thanks dziudek !
For anyone with the same confusion : DON'T INSTALL JOOMLA FIRST !! Just extract Quickstart at the root folder of your website and it will install Joomla and everything needed by the template.
That's so coooool when you understand. It works like a charm.

Yes, you should find a french translation on joomla website or on your local community website.
