After background change - header possition is white

Hello,

I have asked already how to change the background but NOBODY answered !!! Then I have find out in css that there is a image path where I can change the background of a header module. But when I have change the path the header module / possition is white ... there is no picture!!! When I have tried to return the path back as it was - there was no change in the front end - header module is still white ... when I scroll down it get a bit grey but IT DOESN'T SHOW THE IMAGE!!

Please help ... I have already lost a customer due to that not designer friendly template - I hope you can help me here to finaly finish this web page - that is the only thing (until now) I don't know how to fix.
