Where should I place Crawlprotect tag (usually on index.php)

Hi,
I use crawlprotect which is a script allowing crawl protection against spammers and hackers
usually the method is to place a tag directly in the index.php of the template.
With Steak House this is a little bit complicated I think, because Crawlprotect can't find the tag when I add it to the index.php file of the template.
What php file should I edit ? (it must be the php file called when you display the website I think...)

Hi,
in general layout/default.php - if you like hard core solutions
if not ... use custom php/js plugin.

Hi Oscar
Ok, finally it works on layout/default.php
I had to close the browser (Firefox) in order the change take effect. Its cache didn't refresh with Ctrl+R or F5 key.
thaaaanks !
