Backdrop image not there & Icons disappear

I installed using the Quick Start package.

The first thing that I notices was that the background image of the steak was not there. How do I add a background image like this?

The moment that I edited the "Header" content (custom HTML) in any way, the icons next to each menu item disappeared. Even when I then changed the content back to what it was before they still remained absent. What am I doing wrong and how do I fix this? Also where are these icons stored as I would like to alter some?

Icons are loaded as font so if You would like to replace them it will be easier to make an image and change the code to images instead of font.

Some HTML5 structure is not recognised by editors and got removed. You need to disable using editor in user settings and than make changes to the code in pure HTML.

Hi again, don't worry. Copied it from the Demo site and its all good again. If I wish to use an editor, which one would you recommend that doesn't do this sort of thing?

This particular problem has learned me not to use an editor, so it's hard to advice, but I remember TinyMCE got this problem mostly. Try JCE maybe this one will work.
