Menu in android tablets

Good afternoon,

I am trying to create a web site with STEAK HOUSE template in joomla 3 and I have the same problem that other users reported as well with the menu in android tablets.

On the initial page, instead of the menu, it dispalys only a small white frame. On the other pages everything is all right.
I think that the problem appears at the positions of the initial page that cover the width 100%, like position header. If I hide these positions, the menu appears normally.

Hi

Please tell me the model and version of the device which is showing this problem. It looks ok when I check it with my phone.

My phone (samsung galaxy s4) everything is OK, but my tablet MLS iQ8128V1.8 with hardware version HV1A_01 and Android version is 4.4.2 i have this problem.

Hi

I have checked and was able to see the issue but testing our demo on the same device does not show this error. I think it can be happening because of validation errors, so please fix them first so we can fix it or at least exclude this possibility: http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http% ... ne&group=0

ok, i have fixed the validation errors but the problem with menu is still remain. The same happens with yours demo.

I was informed that this particular issue is included in todo list for framework update, so this means soon it will be fixed.

@ugachi.kin can You please tell me what You have in mind exactly ? Or maybe it was fixed already ? Everything works ok on my android device. If it is still like taht for You than tell me the exact model of the device and which browser You have this problem with.

Hi, i really don't know the model, is not a device of mine.
I think it's an old one, but right now i can't contact the person who told me about this problem and i can't se if it's fixed, sorry.

Sorry I couldn't help more, but even testing it with couple of older devices via BrowserStack I'm not able to reproduce this issue.
