Steakhouse K2 templates

I'm running two websites, one with the Steakhouse Template and one with Events.

I like the K2 speaker template from EVENTS more than the default steakhouse Item and Category template.

Is there an effective way for a novice like me to transfer the EVENTS K" into the Steakhouse site?

Sorry, but merging 2 templates is a hard thing to do even for advanced frontend developers and requires a lot of work.
