System - GK Contact (set REPLY TO)

Is it possible to simply modify this plugin in order to send messages with "reply to" field that matches user's email (entered in frontend)...

I guess the only idea is to modify Joomla build in component:
/components/com_contact/controllers/contact.php @ 138

Please ask this question on general Joomla forum, perhaps there is a plugin allowing to modify this behave instead of hacking Joomla core files.
