I use template Steakhouse and want to do more then 1 language. Can I do this in the normal JOOMLA way with this template??? Or is there a other way to do this because when I do this the JOOMLA way the site is not working with the extra language code in the url: like: website.com/nl or website.com/de

Is there someting I miss? Because this is not the first website I did with more then 1 language.

Help is more then welcome.

Hi

I do not know what You did :) But template is not affecting multilanguage functionality in any way. The only thing which You may have a trouble with connected with template is that our menu is not a module but a static element. Solution: create a copy of template style for every language and attach a different menu there, than attach this template to a different language.

About the problem in question I would check if all language plugins are selected and all languages are created for content.

Hi Teitbite,

can you be a little more explicative about how we do it and give other informations or links to some tutorials because it is getting a little confusing.

Thanks,

Hello Teitbite,

nice article, but built in language i think is a lot of work. I chose to use jdiction hoping that i will not have problems and less work and confusion. I would like to move the language switcher module to top right menu of this template. Do you have any idea how to do so?

Have a nice day,
Antonis
