menu overlapping

I'm sure this problem was discussed before but I didn't find a suitable solution yet.
Just like in the original Steak House template I want to scroll to the start page's headline when I hit the start-button ("Discover our Restaurant" in the original template).
In my my case the scrolling doesn't stop at the headline and goes a bit further instaed (-> scrennshots). The linked startpage is an article and is linked with "#start".

instead #start -> use--> #gkPageContent :whistle:

Ok, seems to be not that difficult. But sorry for the question: what exactly is the "PageContent".

Click on image, there are all ID also : gkPageContent etc.

Another thing - a bit offtopic: is it possible to link my startpage-button "STARTSEiTE" to the mentioned place (#gkMainbody). Now it starts from the header.

According to HTML rules, you can use any ID which is available, unfortunately it does not work with class'es.
