multilanguage not working

Hi, I've followed your guide to install a multilanguage (2 languages) site

I've enabled and configured the System - Language Filter plugin, created new menus, published the lang module, but the module still shows nothing (not even in dropdown menu mode).
I've also checked content languages are both published and have access from public.
The module is "Selezione Lingua" on position bottom5.

In modules list change to see modules for administrator. There You will see an unpublished module called "Multilanguage". Please enable it. It will appear at the bottom of joomla administrator and tell You what else is needed in order to make Your site multi language.

but I see no message, nor has anything improved...
I'm stuck with it not displaying languages, despite having followed instructions 7-8 times, maybe I'm too absent-minded but it seems every parameter to be set it's been correctly set. Have you got any other suggestion, please?

Does no one have any idea?
