add icons - facebook-instagram and tripadvisor

Hi guys,
I would like some help here on could I add facebook-instagram and tripadvisor at the front page of steak house template... This is my website which is not completed yet.. but I have just uploaded on aws ec2

Hi

I do not know where You wish to have those icons, but I recommend do use http://fortawesome.github.io/Font-Awesome/icons/ this way it would be as easy as copying the code proposed on icon page.

well, I would like to add these icons/buttons in the footer or in the header....
but I was trying to understand id there is any plugin in the the template so I could use it....

I read something about social api.... is it something I could you use for my pusrpose...?

Please tell me what do You need this social icons for ? Only to link to Your social pages or to share articles on them ?

Simple links does not require any knowledge other than the url to the page. Social API is needed if You wish to have sharing functionality. I advice to use http://www.addthis.com/ since they provide this functionality and it can be used in easy way.

at this moment I need only the icons with link to social pages...
but after that I might need to share articles on them...

Hi

Still I would advice to use http://www.addthis.com/ You will only have to select layout You like and site will tell You a line of code You will have to add to site. It's easier than create it by Yourself even when using prepared icons from http://fortawesome.github.io/Font-Awesome/icons/ or other source.

hi my friend... am here again..
well,
from http://fontawesome.io/icons/ they have sent me a line of code which the say I must add it to HTML's <head>... I was not sure... So I have add it to default.php in the <head>
and I want to insert the icons to place of footer menu... I mean I want to remove footer menu and add icons
or to add these icons in the footer under the menu....
could you give some help please?

well,
at the moment I have inserted the icons lacorallina.co.uk at the bottom of the footer...
how can link the to the social media?
