Blurry photo and filter

Hi!
We have a problem with pictures on a front blog page - when we upload a photo, it gets a little bit blurry (it's uploaded in good quality) and has some kind of filter that we want to remove in order to have a clear photo. Is that possible?

An available space the image is displayed at is 900px while Your category is configured to show Medium images which has only 600px in width. Simply in K2 category settings change to use Large or XLarge images.

Please show me what filter You have in mind. I'm looking at this page and I do not see anything which can be called a "filter".

There is a filter on your photo gallery that is placed by default. When I upload a photo that is i.g. white, it becomes a little bit grey-light brown, it's not the same as it was before the upload. How can we remove the preset (filter) in order to have a clear photo, without default 'retro look'?
