Hide New Post Module or Sidebar position on specific K2 page

I would like to display all pages for individual K2 items from a specific K2 category either:

a) with the sidebar position hidden
or
b) with the New Post module hidden

Is this possible?

if not, you have to use additional extension like: AdvancedModuleManager or MetaMod
