Writer Pages not Displaying as in Demo and Author Page issue

Hello.

I've installed Writer theme on this site:
perspectives.action-types.com

It is a sub-site on the action-types.com network install.

I had to manually install the GK plugins as it wouldn't work as planned using Network install.

Initially, the demo images didnt install and then after configuring the sidebar widget the following displays did not match.

* note I have change the widget now to show the News Grid view. which seems to work ok. but we'd prefer the same default view as with the demo

Also I'm wondering if there is a problem with the menu bar display

Unfortunately images from the demo website are not included - they are replaced by grey/blank images.

Regarding the issue with the author page - i'll check it exactly, did you import xml file and after that did you change any options/modified anything?

Regarding the sidebar News Show Pro configuration, please check this tutorial:

Logo text and avatar you can configure in theme customize settings, please check the customization tutorial:

Author Page: yes imported writer.xml file. Only options changed were the News Show Pro widget.

News Show Pro Config: yes, followed the settings exactly as described in the documentation.

Could you please provide me with a URL to your website and back-end access via PM (click the “Private Message” text underneath my avatar) so that I may analyze it? It is a lot easier for us to diagnose issues when we have a live site to examine.

Please replace your Writer/author.php file with the unizpped file from the attachment. We'll add this fix into the next theme update. Thank you for your feedback.

There was one more thing on this.

The author image isn't showing on the author page. Is this a setting I've missed or perhaps an issue with the author.php file ?

Do you have "Show Avatars" option enabled in Settings > Discussion?
