Template Update overwrote and erased my overrides.css

I just updated photo template using the joomla installer. j3.14->3.15 and now I've lost all my override.css. It was overwritten by the update. Is this supposed to happen?

Hi,
upsss. It wasn't planned of course, but I guess you have to use back-up or you can recover file from hosting support.
I know why, because our developer forgot about deleting this file from template package. :whistle:

p.s.
Next time good advice. Backup this file into local PC/Mac before installing or check if he is inside template package .
Of course I will warn our developer.

Hosting recovered it for me and now I'm backed up. Just started working on this and forgot to do so.
