News Pro GK4 goes to page without modules

Hi there

we are using K2 for our articles

when going to an article in K2 the url is:

index.php?option=com_k2&view=item&id=944:sm%C3%A5-kameraer-monteret-p%C3%A5-fugle-viser-hvordan-livet-er-med-vinger&Itemid=396

when using News Pro GK4 and you click on a image/link it loads the page, that dont loads our side modules.
the url is then like this:

index.php?option=com_k2&view=item&id=944:sm%C3%A5-kameraer-monteret-p%C3%A5-fugle-viser-hvordan-livet-er-med-vinger

its missing the ( &Itemid=396 )

Please advise

The items/categories from K2 are related with some menu items ?

Hi brztuk

Our K2 system is pretty normal, with a menu to K2 catogories. when you go to the articles, the articles are shown, and we have some side banners in the "right" module position.

But when you go to an article through the news Pro GK4, it goes to the article, but all modules dont get loaded, the error is in the news Pro GK4 module, as it DONT get the itemid in the end.

Can you help !

This is why I'm asking about menu items for this K2 items/categories. All articles that you display via NSP should be related with some menu item then the ItemID part will be generated in NSP path.

It`s related through the topmenu in the template "music", so that should be covered.
Also when you hover over an article in NSP, it shows the id, but when going to the article, its missing the itemid, and all modules are gone...

Let me know if you want backend access to investigate, so we dont write ourselfes to death.

The modules are gone because the the items displayed in NSP are not related to any menu item. Create some category view for items presented in NSP then set NSP for this menu items - this should resolve your problem.

Please look here How to make links working? In short words you need to create menu items related with categories/products displayed in News Show Pro.
