Hi,
We just updated to the latest version for the World news II template. We noticed that the overlay is gone. Before the overlay would cover the top of the image and included the title and category, hits , etc. It looks great. Is it gone now?

Also we now have problems centering the image in this extension. We have it set to align:left ; float: none and we are using the autoscale feature for the thumbnails. We have spent a long time changing this and trying different settings but the right side gets cut off and it looks like there is an image underneath the current one showing in the slide animation. We are now trying Image margins 0px 0px 0 0, but that had no effect either.

Can someone share the settings they use to autoscale thumbnails and have them centered without cropping...We have the intro text underneath the image and the additional links to the right of the image.

Thanks

Hi

Can You please point me to the place where the module with overlay style is ? I'm looking into code but cannot see this module as well. Please also check if module css file is enabled, there is no overlay in template styles.

Yes css file is enabled. You can see the overlay on your demo site here: http://demo.gavick.com/joomla25/twn2/ See in the Top 1 position same as ours, but your demo shows the dark overlay covering the top of image and the text inside it...ours no longer works after updating GK4 to latest version.

Also centering on your demo site is perfect!

Thanks

Hi

The style for this look is in /templates/gk_twn2/css/gk.stuff.css file so update of module should not affect it. Unfortunatelly it's hard to tell why this css code is not loading since jch has compressed this all into one file. Please send me an access to joomla panel so I'll disable it for test and enable back when I'll learn something new.

We have disabled jch so you can see code better. Please let us know when you have finished tests. Thank you.

What lines in gk.stuff,css?

Thanks

Ok. Great to hear that. Can You just share what was the problem in case some other users will be looking for the exact solution ?

Yes. Under additional settings make sure Accordion News - open first block is on. I had somehow turned it off.
Also Parse plugins=off
Clean plugins = off

Thats it. :)
