Disabling Hits Counter, Author, Comments on front page

I was wondering how I can disable the Hits counter,Comments and Author on the front page. I have tried to disable it through the article advanced parameters option, also through Global properties with no luck. Not even disabling or uninstalling jcomments components/plugins helped. Still scratching my head. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Here is the link to the live website.
