Here we consider the page

or, it is necessary that the top menu, and stood in his place, as soon as the page scrolls ever-needed pop up on the page buttons at the top, which is a long time all of our competitors!!

Here is a quick css add it to templates/gktemplatename/css/override.css then enable css override from template settings > advanced settings > css override "on" . Please note this is not tested with mobiles or tablets. So use it if you like it.

Both menus fixed.
Code: Select all
#gkPageTop { position:fixed; top:0px; z-index:10;}
#gkToolbar { position:fixed; top:9%; z-index:9; margin-top: -35px!important;}
#gkUserLinks, #gkToolbar .social { margin-right: 25px!important;}
#gkPageContent { margin-top: 110px;}

Top Menu fixed only.
Code: Select all
#gkPageTop { position:fixed; top:0px; z-index:10;}
#gkToolbar { margin-top:50px!important;}
#gkUserLinks { margin-right: 25px!important;}

normanUK:

You get it.
This image is the gavick demo site's image.

My question is how to make the right blank of this template be filled by any module?

This template doesn't have a position called right position. So any modules published in "sidebar" position will fit automatically depending on screen resolution / available space / number of modules. So duplicate few of your modules and it will fill that space.

If you mean custom right position then that is different.

Sorry.
I mean the "sidebar" position.

I visit the gavick demo site via various resolution of desktop computer,but the "sidebar" shows blank still.Is there any good idea to see the demo site with a module at the "sidebar" position?

That's not possible unless admins change it. What you can do is use override.css and position them yourself by using suffix in module class. Then you can organize them as you want.

In Music free demo , modules you see on homepage and subpages are using position "sidebar".

I install the music free at my local server,it leaves the blank at the right side of screen.
It's the same at gavick site and local site.All leaves the blank at the right side of screen.
I can't understand why.

I think it's hard to use for any kind of my sites.It's because the blank at the right side of screen.
I try google chrome,firefox,IE....under the 1024*768,1280*1024 resolution,it's the same.

Can you understand what I mean?

I think the responsive template should suit for every kind of explorers not just for mobile only.Cheer up gavick like other joomla templates providers's responsive templates can do.
