Hi, am very new to Joomla and don't really understand how to do this. I purchased MyFolio and want to showcase my videos. In K2 it's fine to have an image as a link but in the K2 article page I would like to have a linked video (from Vimeo) to replace the image. How to do this? Can it be done from "edit K2 category" in Joomla? Is there a master page I have to modify or perhaps create a new one?
Thanks in advance.

...and how to remove the stupid looking frame all videos have when using JoomlaWorks AllVideos plug-in? I prefer all videos (linked from Vimeo) to look like the original in Vimeo.

I am struggling with the same exact issue. I had envisioned that the main page would have a thumbnail of the video and the article page would begin with a linked Vimeo video rather than the image that is offered now. I also installed the Allvideos plugin and also can't stand the frame into which the Vimeo video is placed. We both would appreciate the help. Thanks!

Yep. Help or info about this topic would be nice.
Nothing wrong with the design, it's perfect, looking very good and very fresh!

Here's what I did, and it seems like it's close enough to what I was envisioning.

Installed Allvideos plugin, as K2 suggests. But I don't use the Media tab in K2's item page. Instead I use {vimeo}VIDNUMBER{/vimeo} at the beginning of the item. This also solves the dumb black frame issue.

I hid the image from the item page. And in the category listing. But don't delete the image, or it won't show up on the frontpage.

One problem I see is that in the category listing, the video frame is being cropped. It's too big for the category listing. Anyone know if there is a way to have the video media be one size in the item view but another size in the category listing?

Another problem is that both the image and the video show up when you search by tag. For now, I've hid the tags.

Hi

This is a very complex modification, but I'm sure it all can be solve by overwritting tags, category and item layouts. Unfortunately it will require to load a video inside php code but I'm not sure which code can load a plugin. I've done that once, but I do not recall in which project so it's hard to find it. Please try ask on K2 forum, they will know for sure.
