Hi!

I have installed Joomla 2.5 in my hosting and then the template e-sportv2.10, but the template parameters are not translated correctly.

See below the photo
error.png

How could I do in order to find the solution?

The language of the site, the administrator and the contest is Spanish I don’t know if this item can affect.

Thanks in advance for the reply

Hi

Please find file en-GB.tpl_gk_esport.ini in template package and copy it into /languages/en-GB folder.

Hello,

I copied the file “en-GB.tpl_gk_esport.ini “ in the folder |public_html/language/en-GB, the file was already created, but I still have the same problem.

I also copied “en-GB.tpl_gk_esport.ini “ in the folder |public_html/language/es-ES and doesn’t work .
Then I renamed the file “en-GB.tpl_gk_esport.ini” to “es-ES.tpl_gk_esport.ini” and I attach in the folder |public_html/language/es-ES , but doesn’t work.

As I indicated, I have the site, the admin and the web content in Spanish, I don’t know if this is important ....

I've been looking some files, without touching anything, and I have seen 3 things:
1.- Should I change something in the file “es-ES.xml” in the folder |public_html/language/es-ES?
2.- Should I change something in the file “templateDetails.xml” situated into /public_html/templates/xxx?

In this last file I saw the following code:
<languages folder="language">
<language tag="en-GB">en-GB.tpl_gk_esport.ini</language>
</languages>
Should I add or change anything?

Regards

Hi

Sorry, but I have no idea. I've tried everything and all looks like it supposed to but no result. I think it may be some problem related with template rename. Can You please tell me step by step what You did to rename it ?

Was this lang file working before that ?

I solved the problem making a copy of the template with the option offered by the template. After I created the file. Ini corresponding and I pasted the file on the language folder of Joomla.

Thank you for your answer and the time you've spent.

Hi

Acctualy I've tried to make it as You said. But I was worried if joomla update will not overwrite it. Anyway it's good to hear it's working.
