MUSIC Free Home and php Error

I installed Music free template with demo data.

There are two things I cannot figure out.

1) Whatever I set the home page (Menu Item Type, for example blog layout, single article ) I still get the demo content article - Free Responsive Joomla Template.

2) When I display an article with non-english characters, I get

1. Article you see in front page is actually a News Show Pro GK4 module.If you disable the module, Main Menu Home item settings will take over. See below details to find and disable module.

Module Position: mainbody

2. Regarding your error, can you please post a link to the page which is showing this error if your website is online otherwise please give us more information e.g steps to achieve that error so we can check.

Is it non-English characters in article title or article content.
