News Show Pro GK5 to show text

Hi, I just installed the quick start package. I see that news show module shows images from K2. I don't want to use K2. I selected there Joomla Articles as data source. My Articles have no images. I want to show a few starting lines from article with a 'Read More' link in news show module with a different background color. Unfortunately I don't see a way to do this simple task. Please help.

Please look into thumbs settings and select the image source You are using.

For text and read more there is no special things You should take care of, so please just follow the documentation.
